Having opened over 32,000 cases, we have a huge amount of experience in a wide range of mediation areas and, with our help, countless people have been able to move forward through mediation. Whether it’s about family matters, child arrangements, divorce finances, commercial disputes, or workplace issues, our mission is to help you reach a mutually agreeable solution, so you can move on with your life.
Our story
Mediation First was founded in 2003 by John Loram and Vicki Lewis, originally under the name of South West Mediation as it started in Devon and, in its early years, operated exclusively in the South West of the UK. However, having outgrown its regional boundaries, Mediation First was recently formed as a national mediation service, offering professional mediation across the UK - with access for clients wherever they are located via online sessions.
We are now proud to have a team of over 20 experienced mediators, each offering a set of unique skills and approaches in specialised areas of mediation. Our expert mediators are all accredited to the highest standards either through the Family Mediation Council or Civil Mediation Council and between them have the expertise to help with family, finance, property, children, civil and commercial, and workplace mediation .
We are proud to have helped thousands of people resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives over the last two decades. And as we continue to provide excellent mediation services, we only aim to help more.
